When I first stepped onto this land near the end of 2021, I felt a clear invitation to create a space here for community, connection, and healing. What I didn’t entirely know at the time was how much I needed the medicine it offered, too.
I was recovering from the isolation and uncertainty of Covid (weren't we all?), two decades of stress from multiple businesses and life in two major cities, and a mostly silent struggle with years of “unexplained infertility.” I knew I needed something different— a new container with new soil to settle into— in order for something to shift.
And while there were definitely challenges to adjusting to a new pace of life here (while unwiring the hypervigilant overproductive part of me I'd mistaken for who I was), I slowly started to feel my whole body exhale. Held by the grounding energy of the mountains, rivers, and trees, my nervous system finally started to heal. And after living here for just a few months, I got pregnant with my son.
It was a simple and powerful reminder for me: when our roots are truly nourished, everything we desire can begin to bloom.
This is one of the many things this place continues to teach me. And it's what I want to share with you through my now annual gathering of women on this land. I’m so excited to offer it again September 17-20th!
Rooted Women is an invitation to tend to your own roots — in real life, in real community, immersed in the wild and wondrous mountains outside of Boulder. Like the plants and trees, our health, stability, and ability to thrive come from what's beneath the surface. Our connection to what grounds us. Our capacity to be held.
What you'll experience:
Grounding Through Nature – Golden aspens, fresh mountain air, trails leading to expansive views, space to relax and reconnect on 5 private acres. The land does its own quiet work on us when we slow down enough to let it.
Community as the Anchor– An intimate group of eight women gathering for morning circles, breathwork, delicious shared meals, outdoor hikes and adventures, chats by the fire, and group breathwork and yoga.
Rest as Nourishment– Enjoy mornings of stillness, hot tub under starlit skies, restorative bodywork, and long pauses that feed your spirit. You don't have to earn rest here. It's already yours.
Your roots are calling. Not toward more — but to the clarity of what truly feeds you. Toward the ground beneath your feet, the people beside you, and the quiet power of being fully present in your own life so you can feel and hear what wants to emerge.
This is your invitation to step away from the noise and step into an intentional reset in nature and sisterhood. Together we root. Together we rise.
I would love to welcome you!
