10-Minute Guided Breathwork Practice (the One I Do Everyday)

“What IS breathwork?” is one of the most common questions I hear. Some people have experienced a connection to their breath through mediation or yoga, or they’ve tried a simple (but powerful) breathing technique like box breathing. And yes, breathwork can be all of those things.

I often say that breathwork feels like a highly focused meditation combined with the rejuvenation of a great nap and the deep emotional release of a good cry. And in this video, I’m going to walk you through one of my favorite breathwork practices, a two-part pranayama breathing technique that I use almost every single day to help me manage stress and anxiety, alleviate nerve pain in my lower back, release emotions that feel stuck, and to connect more deeply to my creativity and intuition.

There are so many benefits to developing a regular breathwork practice (and you can learn a lot more about that here). My hope is that as you connect to this practice, you will begin to experience them too. Sometimes all it takes is a few deep breath to change your entire day. Ihale. exhale. repeat. ahhhhhh.
